Hull Beermat Photography Festival
A new photography festival and competition showcasing Hull to develop photography skills within the region and turn traditional exhibition style on its head.
As part of the festival there is a competition you can take part in where your photo will be printed onto a beermat and put into selected Hull pubs. The competition requires you to submit a photo which is taken in Hull & East Yorkshire to either Instagram, Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #Hullphoto2017.
The competition is free and opens on the 9th of September and winners will be announced on Wednesday 15th of November at 7pm by photographer Martin Parr at Kardomah94 (a bar/restaurant in Hull).
Winning photographs will be printed on to beermats and placed in the following Hull pubs and venues until the end of December:
- Frankie’s Vauxhall Tavern, Hessle Road
- Haworth Arms, Beverley Road
- Kardomah 94, Alfred Gelder Street.
- Larkin’s, Newland Avenue
- Pave, Princes Avenue
- Polar Bear, Spring Bank
- Rayners, Hessle Road
- The Minerva, Nelson Street
- The Old English Gentleman, Mason Street
- The Old House, Scale Lane
